Terms of use

These Terms of use apply to your use of Borecade. By using the site you agree to them. Borecade is operated by Corwex (corwex.net), referred to below as "we" or "us". You can reach us at the address on the Contact page.

The service

Borecade offers free browser games, which you may play without an account. We may add, change or remove games and features, and the service may at times be unavailable. We do not promise that it will always work or that your progress will always be kept.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or older where the law of your country sets a higher age for consenting to online services (up to 16 in some countries of the European Economic Area), and you confirm your age when you create one. Keep your password to yourself: there is no way to recover a forgotten password, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

Display names

Your display name is public and appears with your tag on leaderboards and wherever other players see you. It must not be offensive, impersonate anyone, or contain personal information such as an email address or a phone number. We may change or remove a display name that breaks these rules.

Fair play

Scores must come from your own play in the games as we serve them. Do not modify the games, automate play, submit scores by any other means, or interfere with the service or with other players. We check every score and may reject impossible ones, remove scores from leaderboards, or close accounts that break these rules.

Advertising

Borecade is free because it shows ads. Do not block, tamper with or artificially generate views or clicks on them.

Our content

The games, their art, sounds and text, and the site itself belong to us or are used with permission. You may play them on Borecade; you may not copy, modify or redistribute them.

Liability

Borecade is provided free of charge and as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including lost scores or progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If we do, we publish the new version here and update the date at the top; continuing to use Borecade after that means you accept them.
